Title: Techno–EconomicModeling and Safe Operational Optimization of Multi-Network Constrained Integrated Community Energy Systems
Speaker bio: Dr. Ziqing Zhu iscurrently an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he obtained his PhD degree. His research primarily focuses on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing methods to power system operation, control, and electricity markets. He currently serves as an Early Career Researcher Associate Editor for IET Smart Grid. Dr. Zhu has received several prestigious awards, including the IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy Outstanding Reviewer Award (2023), Energy Conversion and Economics Outstanding Reviewer Award (2023), the IEEE PES Grid-Edge Best PhD Dissertation Award Finalist (2023), and the Annual Best Paper Award of Integrated Smart Energy (2022).
