  • enhance continuous visibility on a variety of topics on a yearly basis, thus leading to a larger impact on the field,
  • empower AEii’s community of researchers to publicize their research, network with other communities, and attract attention.

A WG should have one chair and three-five co-chairs, and one secretary from at least three different countries and regions. The proposal should comprise of:

  • A list of at least 10 tentative parteners who will join the according activities and contribute a chapter for the book/report, incl. names, emails, institutional affiliations, research interests.

AEii provides two options of the duration of a WG, one year or two years. The organizers are obliged to conduct at least four events per year and at least one activity every three months, covering but not limited to:

A WG comprises a variety of events including:

Organizers are free to hold Young Scientist Lecture and Distinguished Lecture anytime during the duration of WG, inviting one young scholar for Young Scientist Lecture and one influential senior scholar in the field for Distinguished Lecture.
  • Session including Special Session, Panel, and Workshop. Special Session has a restriction holding in Congress and comprises 6-8 oral presentations. Panel must be held in Congress and gathers four to six senior scholars in the field to discuss a topic regarding the trends of energy science. For Work Shop, organizers are free to hold Work Shop anytime during the duration of WG, inviting more than four scholars.
  • Report. Report should be submitted to AEii no later than two months prior to the end of a WG for peer-review.
  • Book. AEii provides 2 options of archiving Book including only archived by AEii proceedings and published jointly by AEii and publishers. The first draft of Book should be submitted to AEii no later than 2 months prior to the end of a WG for peer-review.
